duplex 2205 pipes

We are manufacturer of duplex 2205 pipes & tubes and supply high quality duplex 2205 pipes & tubes in both large and small quantities worldwide &
offer you the best prices in the market.
We have a team of experienced professionals with years of experience in manufacturing.

These duplex 2205 pipes are purely made of stainless steel as it is resistant to corrosion and has high strength. These are mostly used in drilling operations. These are made of high quality and tested by the standards for their best use in the industries. These are available in different sizes. These are mostly used in extracting the gas and oil from wells. This will provide better service with zero defects. They can be used in high temperatures and pressure.

Properties

Duplex 2205 stainless is a dual-phase stainless steel whose grain structure is about 45% ferritic and 55% austenitic, hence the name “duplex”. With twice the mechanical strength and corrosion resistance of common austenitics, alloy 2205 offers some advantages over 316L and 317L:

  • Lower coefficient of thermal expansion and a higher thermal conductivity
  • Resists chloride stress corrosion cracking
  • Pitting and crevice corrosion resistance
  • Excellent choice for high chloride environments
  • Lower cost than high alloyed caustics

Applications

Industries taking advantage of the lower cost and higher mechanical properties of alloy 2205 include:

  • Heat exchangers
  • Marine construction
  • Oil and gas industry
  • Chemical processing
