for the cushion
Straw cushion is widely used as supporting material
for stocking and transportation of cylinder-shaped goods, specially
suitable for supporting steel rolls during the transportation
of railway and road. Because it can improve the functions of anti-slippery,
stability and security, it is much used in China AnShan Steel
company, Bao Steel, and BenXi Steel enterprise and other big steel
production factories. It is an ideal supporting material for steel
rolls which has been recognized by railway and road transportation
department.
The advantages of straw cushion compare with wood or steel material
supporting items are as following:
1. Straw cushion mainly uses straw, cornstalk &wheat stalk
etc. It is recycled environmental material which has low cost,
big quantity and it is a good way to make use of waste.

straw-drying machinery. In order to produce Concave-shaped supporting
straw cushion, the straw which are chosen must be added regularly
during production in order to be in smooth condition and must have
moisture containing not more than 16%.In the wrapping process, the
distance between the first iron wire and the top of cushion should
be minimum 50mm,after tightening, the rest length of iron wire should
be at least 50mm and this should be curved and pressed in the the
side of cushion. The abrasive index between cushion and steel board
should not be less than 0.42
