Boiler tubes are specialized seamless hollow steel pressure parts that act as core heat exchange components inside steam boilers. They absorb heat from flue gas and heat circulating feedwater to generate saturated or superheated steam, enduring continuous high temperature, internal pressure and repeated thermal stress cycles. Different from ordinary structural or fluid seamless pipes, boiler tubes have extremely strict requirements on creep resistance, high-temperature oxidation resistance, low-temperature impact toughness and internal cleanliness to prevent pipe burst, medium leakage and unplanned plant shutdown accidents.
