SSAW Pipe
SSAW pipes for reliable and strong construction.
UOE pipe is a type of longitudinally welded steel pipe produced using the UOE method, which involves crimping, U-pressing, O-pressing, and expanding.
"UOE pipe" refers to a type of longitudinally welded steel pipe produced using the UOE (U-ing, O-ing and Expanding) method. This method involves several forming processes, including crimping, U-pressing, O-pressing, and expanding, which are used to produce large-diameter pipes.
The UOE method starts with crimping the edges of a plate to form a U shape, followed by U-pressing and O-pressing to form a J shape. The final step is expanding the J-shaped pipe to form the finished product. This method allows for the production of pipes with up to a 1422mm diameter and wall thicknesses of up to 25.4mm.
The UOE method is known for its high productivity and the ability to produce high quality and large diameter pipes economically. The pipes produced using this method are used in various applications such as oil and gas transportation, offshore structures, and water supply.
Another method used for the production of longitudinally welded steel pipes is the JCOE (J-ing, C-ing, and O-ing) method.
Longitudinal edges of steel plates are first beveled using carbide milling equipment. Beveled plates are then formed into a U shape using a U-press and subsequently into an O shape using an O-press.
The process of producing UOE pipe involves the following main steps:
The UOE process is known for its ability to produce large-diameter pipes with high accuracy and consistency, making them suitable for use in the transportation of oil and gas, as well as in various other applications.
The UOE mill features the most advanced technology and process, achieves high production efficiency, stable product quality and is equipped with complete inspection equipments.
UOE mill adopts U & O forming, the formed pipes are welded inside through five internal welding stations with three wires, and welded outside through four external welding stations with three wires.
UOE pipes size range:
Quality Standards: API、DNV、ISO、DEP、EN、ASTM、DIN、BS、GB、CSA
Grades: API 5L A-X90,GB/T9711 L190-L625
In accordance with different requirements of the customers, the welded pipe can be expanded either by mechanical or hydrostatic expander to improve dimensional accuracy, and eliminate residual stress.

Pipeline coating is the most consistent and successful solution for protecting ERW pipes from corrosion, from moisture, other harmful chemicals.
Anti-corrosion steel pipe is processed through the preservation process, which can effectively prevent or slow down the process in the transport and use of chemical or electrochemical corrosion reaction of steel pipe.
Therefore pipe anti-corrosion layer is an important barrier to prevent soil erosion. A well-known foreign scholar put forward” 3PE france protective layer”, so far, anti-corrosion methods is widely used.
Coated pipes offer high resistance to corrosion on pipes and provide many benefits such as:
