U-Type Outer Half-Round Tube Shield is a customized special arc protective sleeve developed for boiler U-bend and return bend heat exchange tubes. The outer curved part of boiler elbow bears the strongest impact of high-speed flue gas, abrasive fly ash particles and corrosive condensate, which easily causes tube wall thinning, pitting corrosion and thermal fatigue cracking, leading to frequent boiler shutdown for maintenance.
This product adopts integrated hydraulic stamping to form 180° to 200° U-shaped half round structure, only covering the erosion-prone outer arc of the bend, which saves alloy raw materials compared with full-circle tube shields and retains better heat exchange efficiency. Multiple martensitic, ferritic and austenitic heat-resistant stainless steel grades are available to match different boiler flue temperature and sulfur content working conditions.
Two mature installation solutions of snap ring clamping and spot welding are supported, and matched same-alloy C/U snap lock fasteners are supplied together.
